Resources for Trainers

Introductory video for trainers

This video is for organisations or individuals planning to facilitate Hearts and Minds training events for healthcare providers. It is just over 40 minutes in length, and explains the resources below, as well as considering the practical considerations to organise a 2 hour event yourself.  (The video is designed to introduce you to the 2 hour version, and is still very useful for trainers considering using the shorter length training versions)

FREE RESOURCES FOR TRAINERS TO DOWNLOAD AND USE

Click on one of the download links below to get all four of the following resources:

1. Trainers' Handbook

We use the term trainer or facilitator to refer to those who are leading any Hearts and Minds training session. The handbook that is provided for each version of Hearts and Minds training (2 hr, 1 hr or 30 mins) offers key information about planning and facilitating a session. It is recommended that facilicators set aside a minimum of 90 minutes preparation  before running your first Hearts and Minds event.

2. Hearts and Minds presentation slides and script

A complete set of powerpoint slides is provided for the training duration you select, along with a full script to support the trainer

3. NAM animation on U=U

Our wonderful friends at NAM and animade.tv made a short animation that explains U=U beautifully, to be used in each training event.

4. Hearts and Minds Conversations (video)

The Conversations video was created by our Community Panel for use in every Hearts and Minds workshop.  The viewer below is for previewing only, each of the download links below also contains a copy of this video.

  • We have provided a relatively low resolution version for ease of use. Please use the contact form at least a week ahead of your event if you require a higher resolution, or a version that includes subtitles.

  • Subtitles can also be switched on when using media players that support this functionality.

Attendance Certificates

  • Click on the link below to download a template Attendance Certificate.

  • You can add your organisation's logo prior to printing (please use colour printing where possible).

  • Every attendee should receive a printed signed and dated certificate before leaving the training workshop. CPD point recognition can be very important for people working in healthcare, so a signed and dated certificate must be made available to all those who attend a live session in its entirety.
